About Moms Anonymous–Anchored in Christ
"Moms Anonymous–Anchored in Christ" is primarily a group support for women 18 and older who have experienced or (may be experiencing) the following: Struggles in marriage, divorce, raising infants, toddlers, teens, struggles with adult children, infertility, abuse, addictions of all kinds, strengthening their testimonies in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and much more. Many may have uncertainty over how to let go of what they can't control and to simply let God prevail.
The purpose of this blog is to inspire thoughts, ideas, and actions that will enable you to center your lives in Christ and navigate the worries and heartaches that come with the trials you are facing or with what you will soon face. Here, you can learn to recognize and experience the joy of life in greater abundance, despite the choices we or our loved ones make. Here, you can learn to love the way God and Jesus Christ love, relying on their infinite power to help build personal strength.
Too many women struggle silently. Sometimes we become so caught up in exhausting our time, energy, money, and effort on those we care about, that we tend to neglect our own needs. We take care of ourselves last, if at all. Some can afford counseling. Some cannot. But whether or not someone benefits from professional advice, we also need the tools that enable us to receive the counsel of Christ and the guiding spirit, which are essential to navigating through the troubles and worries we carry. Christ is absolutely key to getting through everything in this life. Unless you come to that realization, your worries and burdens will be greater.
I invite you to utilize the power of Christ and His Atoning Sacrifice to enrich your lives during, and despite of, hardships. As mothers and women of faith in Christ, we need to unite and strengthen one another through Him. Moms Anonymous–Anchored in Christ does not discourage, and is not a replacement of, religion or counseling. If you are in need of professional help, you should seek it. But also allow room for the Savior to help you in miraculous ways!
As we grow closer to Christ, we can become a brighter light and a compass to our families and those around us. We can be stronger, think more clearly, and act as the Savior would have us do.
The longer we struggle alone, the more likely we are to become confused, overwhelmed and withdrawn from receiving divine help from our Father in Heaven and Savior Jesus Christ. To be of real help to others, we must first be willing to help and strengthen ourselves.
By seeking Christ and connecting with others who are experiencing similar heartaches, we will learn to see ourselves as we really are; discover and live our greatest potential by relying on a power greater than our own; and find the courage and grace to love and accept others the way Christ would for those we are concerned about, instead of trying to change them, and allow ourselves to trust in the Lords plan for us and each of His children as we navigate through life's storms and allow God to prevail in our lives.
I would like to invite you to adopt this motto into your life.
